Campion College Australia is three year
Liberal Arts college established in the best traditions of the European
and US colleges. Liberal Arts Colleges and universities have existed
in the United States for hundreds of years and over 250 Catholic liberal
arts
colleges
and universities currently
teach in the United States with over 750,000 students.
Campion focuses on one Bachelor degree program, the Bachelor of Arts
in the Liberal Arts.
Campion is a community of learners and leaders. Its courses of study
and student life programs come from the Catholic liberal arts tradition:
an education of the whole person, noted for its high standard of scholarship,
respect for human dignity, community service and stewardship.
As an orthodox Catholic institution faithful to our traditions and
in union with the Magisterium of the Church, the essential purpose
of Campion College
is to place students on the path to Christian wisdom, a wisdom born from
the contemplation of both natural and divinely revealed truth.
Campion College is open to all students regardless of religious denomination.
Students who study the Liberal arts want to know more about what life
is about before they plunge into a career, which many people achieve
through post graduate work. Learning about the history and philosophy
of western civilization
based on the teachings of the most influential institution in Western
Civilisation is a great grounding for life and work.
Through traditional and innovative instruction, partnerships,
internships, and exchange programs, Campion students have the environment
to acquire the competencies necessary to enter a competitive multicultural
society. The College dedicates its resources to the education of students
who are motivated to learn and to be community leaders, especially
first-generation university students desiring to advance their careers
and to grow in understanding
of their Catholic faith and to enrich their lives.
It does this through a comprehensive, systematic and well-grounded education
in the Liberal Arts.
